Good - doing the massive amount of work to get my exploration titles, seeing every nook and cranny of Tyria
Bad - I would agree with the Maguuma strife, also not enough parties to do cool quests like defend droks, or defend north kyrta province

Good: there is a tie:
- First time I reached LA it was decorated for Wintersday.
-First time I walked into Beacons not yet knowing there were missions that had an easier route and climbing up on top of the mountain.
Bad- The volume of scummy chat that shows up in presearing Ascalon. If I was a new player now, and saw some of the stuff that gets said there, I would probably not bother continuing with the game.

Good: Finding all of the 'secret' areas - hidden shrines out in the wilderness, grottos, etc.
Bad: Losing my survivor (2) title when I entered Dreadnaughts Drift and got mobbed right at the entrance before I could react.

Good: presearing, just b-e-a-utiful
bad: lack of stuff to do in Maguuma, if there was more to do you think people would still do the droks run? [besides to get the max armor]

Good: Beauty of Pre-Searing.
Bad: Post-Searing, ugly...well just Ascalon city. Sad to see such a beautiful place burned to ashes by the Charr. Don't get me wrong I love th Charr, the vey first time I encountered them, I thought it would be cool if we could play these hulking beasts.

Good: Pre-Searing is a beautiful area. I think they deliberately made it more realistic (such as the npcs just walking around and the merchants outside towns) so your first impression of the game would be awesome.
I too arrived in LA the first time during Wintersday!
Bad: Maguuma's emptiness, despite its beauty. Also after being spoiled by Pre-Searing, I thought Post-Searing Ascalon was just BLEAH!

Maguuma leaves a lot of to be desired huh?
Good: Pre, of course, and fighting to Kryta. Beating the lich the first time was cool too.
Bad: The Wilds, it's just so long. :x

Good: Working my characters to the higher level areas (Sorrows/Tombs/UW/FOW) to farm.
Bad: Realizing that when trying to sell items in the community, people lack manners. I get tired of being told off.

Good: The quirky, but epic, storyline, best of all the chapters.
Bad: Finding out that 15k armor cost 15k per piece - I thought I would never ever see that much gold (I was level 9, just arrived in post, at the time).

By far it would seem that Prophecies had teh best look of all the campaigns. So many different areas from a barrenwastyeland in Ascalon, to snow covered mountains in the Shiverpeaks, a beautiful countryside in Kryta, to a dense jungle in Maguuma, to a vast empty desert in the Crystal Desert, and finally to the volcanic hell that was the Ring of Fire Islands. Prophecies is by far first.
Cantha pretty much had four areas, Shing Jea Island/Pongmei Valley were jsut plain and boring, The city was mad confusing but a little interesting, The Jade Sea was cool and as was the Echovald Forest. With that said Factions comes in a fairly distant second.
Elona wasn't very interesting. Istan was nice, Kourna, Vabbi and the Desolation left something to be desired. The Realm of Torment was a success though. Nightfall is in a very distant third.
Please continue with the posts. If you think of something else feel free to post again as I am gonna do:
Good: The Challenge. Prophecies is the only campaign I enjoy playing through over and over.
Bad: Curse you Galrath and your annoyingly long Quest!
